A. DeSantis Developments Ltd. has its roots in the industrious journey of Anthony (Tony) DeSantis, a young immigrant from Italy who arrived in Hamilton with a clear mission. From a young age, Tony focused on work and saw the vast potential in the real estate market, becoming involved in the industry in his early 20s. In 1957, Tony crossed paths with prominent real estate broker Bill Kronas, marking the beginning of a significant chapter in his career. Under Mr. Kronas' mentorship, Tony honed his skills in real estate sales and quickly emerged as one of the Metropolitan Hamilton Real Estate Board’s top producers. This relationship evolved into a father-son dynamic, characterized by mutual admiration and respect. In 1962, Tony's entrepreneurial spirit led him to purchase a dilapidated house on Chestnut Street, paying the City of Hamilton for the taxes owed on the land. This marked the inception of his journey as a developer.
